TRI-BAND BASE ANTENNA

The Comet GP 93 is brand new a 3 band base colinear antenna, fibreglass construction, and the length is a comfortable 1.78m, gives great performance on 2m/70cms and 23cms.

Using Comet's latest ABS joint system and heavy duty fibreglass, the GP 93 is the perfect antenna for tri-band operation. If used with the Comet cfx-431 you can enjoy triplex communication.

Comet GP 93 uses the newly developed MPC (multi-pass converter system) for low loss, and maximum gain. Wideband coverage and no adjustment is necessary, VSWR is less than 1 1:5. The antenna weighs in at 1.15kg, maximum power is rated at 300w, the base connector is an "N" type, and the mast requirements are between 30-62mm (clamps are included).

If you have not tried operation on these three bands before, the Comet GP 93 is a great way to start, and is extremely easy to install and connect. Rigs like the Kenwood TS-2000, Icom IC-910, etc etc with 23cms options, are ideal for use with this antenna.
